Darth was the 7th ranked Irish Setter in 1987 following a brief 10 week campaign under the very capable and loving hands of Tom Tobin. He remained a Top Ten ranked Irish Setter in 1988 & 1989 with many Group and Specialty wins. Darth's greatest win happened at the 100th Anniversary of the Irish Setter Club of America's Centennial National Specialty. The 1991 Veteran Sweepstakes drew an entry of 66 of the most magnificent 8 year old and older Irish Setters. The judge made only one entry in her judging book that day and then she chose Darth as the Best in Veteran Sweepstakes at the ISCA Centennial National Specialty. WHAT A WIN!!!!
